Godspeed

godspeed

This story is next in the progression because it is what happened as we left the Rochester Creek Panels to head home to Salt Lake City.

I had been waiting all week to go hear a speaker in Murray that night.

Unfortunately at the time and possibly still to this day, cell phone coverage was not to be had way out there in the rock and since no one wears a watch these days we had no sense of time. When we finally got the phones working and noticed the time, there was no possible way to get to Salt Lake in time to hear anything, so we drove on heading towards home.

As we came out in the Provo area we looked at the time once more, still we were not going to make it, fast forward to around the bend at Point of the Mountain and we look to find we suddenly, not only could make the meeting, but would arrive before it even began.

This was not a real possibility an hour earlier and the driver is never known to speed.

Ever.

Some people speak of losing time but how many of you gain time?

In woo-woo land they call this Godspeed.

Godspeed is when you absolutely cannot possibly make it somewhere on time, and you have done all in your power to get there, and something strange kicks in and there you are.

The word for the day is “Godspeed” and is brought to you by the letter “G”
